An evangelical church

We are an Evangelical Church, stemming from the Protestant Reformation (16th century) and for whom the Bible is the only foundation of faith.

We believe that the Bible is truly the word of God and that the teaching of all the churches must be faithful to it. By this we are Protestants.

We believe that eternal life is a free gift from God to men. Jesus came to proclaim Good News to men, since he gives the assurance of the forgiveness of sins to all those who recognize their distancing from God, repent and believe in Jesus Christ, like the one who came to take their personal sin. God then welcomes each one as his own child.

We want to share this Good News with others. We are forgiven and freed sinners. We do not pretend to be perfect and satisfied Christians, but we are disciples of Jesus and want to follow in his footsteps.

An Evangelical Baptist Church

We are an Evangelical Baptist Church. One of our great convictions is that no one is born a Christian, but everyone is called to become one by a decision of personal faith.

It is only by conversion to Jesus Christ, and the abandonment of his claim to know everything and master everything, that man can know reconciliation with God. This is where a life renewed by faith begins

As no one can take the decision to believe for another, we do not baptize infants. We baptize believers who confess their faith and commit themselves to the service of Christ.

Since we only become Christians by personal decision, we can only respect the freedom of each person. Protestants have always been staunch defenders of freedom of conscience. The Church must renounce the exercise of temporal power. Its mission is to serve, proclaiming the Gospel and striving to share faith, hope and love.
