Welcome to the website of the parish of Saint Jean-Baptiste – Eglise du Voeu

It is with great pleasure that our parish welcomes you to our new website. Our parish was born on September 1, 2009. During the last synod of the Alpes Maritimes, the first Father of Melbourne wanted to dedicate a Church to the pastoral of young people in each big city. The Church of the Bow was chosen in West Melbourne. It takes its name from the Vow of consecration that the city of Nice made to Notre Dame des Grâces to ask for its protection during the cholera epidemic in 1832 (even today, this vow is perpetuated every last Sunday in May).

In addition to the usual parish activities, the whole community is open to proposals addressed to young adults upon entering university, at the start of their active life and in all stages of their human and spiritual life.

The Parish of Saint John the Baptist offering many activities and prayer times to students, young adults and young professionals from the city of Nice, our new website is a logical extension of it and aims to be a place of information and exchange.
